When it comes to deciding who to work with, Habitat for Humanity of Michigan knows that there are a lot of options. So, why should you work with us?
We use the information you provide you with a unique path to help you reach financial stability. Our team members understand that the process can be stressful and confusing. When you work with us, you can rest assured that we will arm you with the resources and knowledge to make informed, unbiased decisions.
We offer resources to help you navigate housing, however this does not include immediate housing. Our Housing Counselors will identify those obstacles hindering you, and work with you to create an action plan for that next step, customized to your unique needs. Your counselor will assign a few tasks at a time, and as you complete them, you will take progressive steps toward mortgage-readiness, and ultimately homeownership.
Even if you’re not looking to purchase through Habitat, our counselors will still assist with locating safe and affordable housing options, whether that be homeownership or rental!
We've made it convenient for you to stay engaged with us right from the comfort of your home. Whether you're scheduling an appointment with a counselor, registering for classes, uploading documents, making payments or monitoring your progress, our Customer Portal gives you access to your information on your schedule. At Habitat for Humanity of Michigan, it’s our goal to make sure you are provided everything you need to keep your family in good financial health.
